Children aged 1.5-3 years from childcare services are invited to an enchanting morning at the children's floor LÆS at Copenhagen's Main Library. An experienced host tells stories on the children's own terms – sometimes as an interactive storytelling session with props, other times as a read-aloud from picture books. The format varies to engage different interests.
After storytime, children are welcome to enjoy packed lunches in the dining area and borrow books to take home. The children's floor LÆS is designed to stimulate language development and reading enthusiasm through books, activities, and playful interactions with letters. Groups of 3-8 children and childcare staff are welcome.
