Ivalu's First Song 6+ years / Theatre Magic Amager

Experience the story of Ivalu, a young heroine who mysteriously creates her very first song and thereby saves her entire family. This children's theatre production explores themes of courage and how things sometimes come to us when we need them most – and about doing what you cannot do when it becomes necessary.

Directed by and performed by Claus Mandøe, the production combines storytelling, wooden figures and atmospheric design into a magical experience for children and adults. It is part of the Theatre Magic in Autumn Holiday festival, bringing children's theatre to cultural centres and libraries around the city during week 42.
