A magical children's theater performance about the courageous young Ivalu, who unexpectedly composes her very first song and thereby saves her entire family from danger. The play explores courage, how solutions emerge when they are needed most, and the necessity of breaking rules when it becomes absolutely essential.
The performance is based on Knud Rasmussen's enchanting account from The Great Sledge Journey and is directed by Claus Mandøe. Through thoughtful set design, wooden figures, and sound design, the production creates a safe and fascinating world for the children. As part of the 'Theater Magic in Autumn Break' festival in week 42, the performance is presented at children's culture houses and libraries across Copenhagen.
Practical info: Admission 40 DKK. Recommended for children from age 6 and up.
