An evening devoted to the legendary Danish artist and filmmaker Jørgen Leth. Author Jens Christian Grøndahl takes the audience on a journey through Leth's life, delivering a lecture and reading from his new text about him. This is followed by a multimedia show from Jacob Dammas and Józefina Jarmuzewska, which explores Leth's youth and his connections to Poland.
The evening culminates in a screening of Leth's groundbreaking 1972 documentary Life in Denmark. This work portrays nearly 100 Danes from all walks of society — cyclists, ministers, actors, and village girls — and captures a unique snapshot of Danish life and culture in the early 1970s. The film includes English subtitles.
