Karateklubben Kenzoku is launching a brand new children's class with the first training session on the first Monday in September. The class accommodates a maximum of 10 participants with 2-3 instructors who tailor coaching to each child's individual needs.
Training covers the entire body through both technical karate — kihon and kata — as well as sparring and play. You can attend three free trial sessions without needing to invest in a dogi (karate uniform) — regular training clothes with long trousers are fine to start with. Jewelry and shoes must be removed, and it is perfectly fine to train with a hijab.
Fees and membership
- Trial training: free (3 sessions)
- Membership fee: 100 kr
- Quarterly fee: 450 kr
- Grading: 100 kr
Your fees include training, karate passport, belt and certification upon grading, plus access to tournaments and potential subsidies toward training camps. Dogi and protective equipment must be purchased separately — the club will help you find fair prices.
If finances are tight, municipal grants for fees and equipment are available — the club is happy to assist.
The club is a small organization focused on individual needs and tailors karate to suit you — physical disabilities may present limitations, but contact the club if you want to try and are unsure.
