Kennet shares his personal story of a 27-year journey through addiction and crime — and how he found his way back.
His childhood was marked by neglect and abuse that caused him to flee further and further from himself. As a young man, he became an auto mechanic and vehicle inspector, but gradually drew himself into Copenhagen's techno scene and then the organized criminal underworld. He became a drug dealer, experienced psychiatric hospitalizations, and spent 7 years in prison.
It was only a near-death experience that set his turning point in motion. Today, Kennet uses his story to show what crime and addiction do to a person — and most importantly: that change is possible, even when all hope seems gone.
