Kiss Facility is a visionary duo blending shoegaze guitars, electronic pop, and Arabic musical elements into a distinctive sound. The project brings together UK-based producer Salvador Navarrete – known as Sega Bodega – and Emirati-Egyptian vocalist and artist Mayah Alkhateri. Since the mid-2010s, Sega Bodega has worked with iconic artists including Björk, FKA twigs, Caroline Polachek, and Eartheater, renowned for redefining electronic pop on a global stage. His music embraces glitches, digital artifacts, and deeply personal expression.
In Kiss Facility, the duo merges shoegaze and indie rock with Arabic references in an aesthetic that challenges perceptions of identity, creativity, and belonging. Alkhateri's voice floats beautifully and melancholically over waves of saturated guitars – with clear echoes of Cocteau Twins – while the project simultaneously voices a necessary call for Arab women's freedom. Their debut album "KHAZNA", released in early 2026, has received enthusiastic reviews from outlets including Pitchfork.
The duo's intense and intimate live performances have already made a strong international impact. This is your opportunity to experience Kiss Facility in Denmark for the first time, as they make their way toward larger stages worldwide.
