Clown Friends is a silent clown-music performance created by Theater Skak & Scharling, a duo consisting of Martha Skak and Annette Kruse Scharling. The performance is designed for children from 3 years old and their adults.
The story unfolds when two clowns appear on the same stage, even though each of them has been hired to perform solo. One performs mouth sounds, while the other plays cello. From this apparent confusion, a delightful musical and clownish spectacle emerges. Clown Friends tells the story of friendship between two remarkable personalities who are each somewhat isolated in their own ways, but who find each other and discover that being quirky together is much more fun than being alone.
Theater Skak & Scharling specializes in silent performances for all ages through a blend of physical comedy, music and dance. This performance is part of the children's festival at Biblioteket Rentemestervej.
