Industrial, rave and metal converge in a brutal total work. Krøyer pushes the boundaries between industrial-electronic music, rave and metal by fusing music, set design and performance into an experience that is both intensely physical and intimate. Following a spectacular performance at Roskilde Festival where the ALICE stage was transformed into an infernal parallel universe – reviewed with 5–6 stars by both GAFFA and Blastbeast – Vulvatorious frontwoman Ditte Krøyer brings her intense and dark performance to the venue in October.
Krøyer
Ditte Krøyer is known as frontwoman of the feminist black metal band Vulvatorious and has been a central figure on Copenhagen's alternative music scene for the past decade. In her solo project, she explores the boundaries between metal, industrial music and rave through a harsh and encompassing soundscape. With booming bass, massive beats and a voice ranging from high screams to desperate shouts and growls, Krøyer addresses themes such as climate crisis and her upbringing on Lolland. Her stage presence is notoriously physical and present – if you enjoy artists like Violent Magic Orchestra, this is a must.
Mouth Wound
Trine Paaschburg is behind the experimental Mouth Wound project, which through heavy rhythms and noisy soundscapes creates a soundtrack to the soul's inner struggle between existential pain and peace. Mouth Wound's live presentations are characterized as both meditatively engaging and masochistic, and the project has gained momentum through performances at Berlin Atonal 2025 as well as collaborations with Vu Mantra and Industrial Coast. Mouth Wound opens the evening – arrive early and let yourself be drawn into the darkness.
