Kunst på Barsel invites to monthly morning concerts at the city's music venues – specially created for parents on parental leave with baby. Live music experience in intimate settings that welcome both listeners and little ones.
The Artist: Stine Grøn is a Danish composer, singer and producer, known from the acclaimed band IRAH. Her music is both grand and intimate, balancing the specific and universal, and she is releasing her first solo album, "Become The Sky", in autumn. As a mother of two since 2019, she works to show that artistic practice and parenthood can go hand in hand.
About the Project: Kunst på Barsel builds a bridge between the art scene and parenthood. The project actively works for equality, sustainability and inclusion in cultural life by giving space to artistic voices that often become silent in the transition to parenthood – both as performers and audience members.
Program: Following the concert, a conversation with the artist will address these central issues and offer new perspectives in art and cultural life.
