Female Homicide in Denmark – Who, How and Why?

Journalist and author Line Vaaben explores a serious and complex topic: female homicide in Denmark. Through concrete cases and statistical analysis, she provides insight into the underlying causes of these tragedies – including intimate partner homicide – and their impact on those affected.

The lecture draws on her award-winning work, including the book "A Predictable Crime" co-written with forensic pathologist Asser Hedegaard Thomsen (2022) and her latest book "Those We Trusted," where she examines the consequences for the family following the murder of psychologist Maria From Jakobsen.
