You explore the Danish capital using the World City Trail smartphone app, solving clever puzzles at iconic attractions such as Nyhavn, Amalienborg, Christianborg, and Rundetårn. The game guides you through the city by revealing shortcuts and stories behind each landmark.

The tour is self-paced — you start anytime between 7 AM and 4 PM and can pause or resume whenever you wish. Along the way, you use logic, imagination, and observation to solve location-based riddles and find your next destination. The app offers 3 difficulty levels of hints, navigation support, and interesting facts about the city.

Route highlights:

  • Start: City Hall
  • Visit 10 central attractions
  • End: Frederik's Church
  • Self-guided via app with puzzles and location-based riddles

You can enjoy the experience at your own pace — stop to photograph, read stories, or simply enjoy the views. Access to the outdoor areas of museums is included; tickets to interior attractions are not necessary to solve the puzzles.
