Join an evening where food and music come together in perfect harmony. The event opens with communal dining at long tables, where meals are served on platters for sharing among the guests — an intimate and social way to enjoy the meal together. This is followed by a jazz concert featuring pianist and singer Fini Broadbery and guitarist Pelle von Bülow.
Fini Broadbery is a recognized jazz pianist, but fewer know his background as a singer in Copenhagen Boys' Choir. At this concert, he brings together both artistic expressions as pianist and vocalist. His pure voice combined with his characteristic, uncompromising piano playing creates music that is energetic and light. He remains true to jazz tradition with seriousness and originality, without falling back on clichés — his interpretations of classic numbers carry a personal touch.
Pelle von Bülow is counted among Denmark's finest and most sought-after jazz guitarists. He received the Erik Moseholm Prize in 2022 and the Tivoli Jazz Prize in 2020 for his artistic integrity and sonic presence. As an accompanist, he is world-class and moves gracefully between jazz, Latin, blues, funk, R&B and pop. Beyond his work in the jazz scene, he is a regular member of Erran DD's orchestra Drori Hansens Furniture. His ability to create a unique sound and deep musical understanding makes him a central figure in Danish jazz.
The concert is characterized by two friends' love for jazz's most beautiful ballads and colorful stories through songs from the songbook.
