Meet the Mermaid Havdis, who fights to protect her marine home and underwater friends against pollution and overfishing. Through this theater magic, important questions about sustainable use of the ocean's resources are explored in a child-friendly way.
The performance creates an emotional connection to the ocean and its wildlife through beautiful scenography and live music. The audience is invited beneath the water's surface to experience the magical underwater world that we all need to protect and care for.
By staging a story of love and responsibility for the ocean, the performance encourages children to think about how their daily actions affect the marine environment. The performance honors UN Sustainable Development Goal 14 on ocean protection and inspires thoughts about a sustainable future for the ocean and its inhabitants.
