NATKAT returns after a seven-year break and now has new tracks with them. At this AmarGetON! event, the duo meets Cillian Murphy from Proces Podcast for a conversation about their beginnings, their musical development, the years away from the spotlight, and the decision to step back into the Danish hip-hop scene. The talk also explores boom bap, the underground community, and what it takes to stay true to an artistic vision for more than a decade.
The event is part of AmarGetON!, a cultural history festival celebrating hip-hop culture and taking place in Copenhagen’s libraries and cultural venues. Since 2014, NATKAT has made its mark on the Danish hip-hop scene with roots in the classic boom bap tradition and a raw, atmospheric, and timeless sound. Venue: Kvarterhuset Amagerbro. Admission: 100 kr.
