Experience stand-up comedy at its finest every Thursday year-round at Teater Play. The stage features 7-8 comedians plus a host whose identity is revealed only once you are seated in the hall. For over 20 years, the theatre has opened its doors every Thursday evening for some of Denmark's most talented and established comedians, working with new and often unfinished material in front of a live audience.
The evenings always blend emerging newcomers with established names – many from television – and are presented in an intimate and distinctive way. Many comedians use this stage to refine their jokes before larger tours or their own one-man shows. If you want to hear the newest material before anyone else, this is the place.
Practical Information
- Admission: 50 kr
- Location: Teater Play (90 intimate seats)
- Bar: Opens one hour before showtime, open during intermission
- Age limit: Minimum 15 years – regarding show content and respect for the comedians
