What does it mean to be Palestinian today, as the political landscape shifts and hopes for peace and justice become harder to maintain? An important afternoon where three experienced human rights advocates and development professionals share their perspectives on the situation in the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza.
Through these conversations, we explore questions about Palestinian identity, cultural resilience and the role of hope in everyday life. Throughout the event, Danish-Palestinian musician and composer Bilal Irshed – known for his personal interpretation of Middle Eastern music – provides musical reflection.
Speakers include Nidal Hamdouna (Area Manager for DanChurchAid in Gaza), Shahnaz Jubran (head of the Ramallah office) and Muhammad Shehada (researcher and human rights campaigner from Gaza). Journalist Paula Larrain moderates.
