Portuguese Mornings is an informal gathering place for everyone who wants to practise and speak Portuguese and Danish together. The meeting is ideal for Danes who want to learn the Portuguese language and culture, as well as Portuguese and Brazilians in Denmark who are working on their Danish. It is also for everyone who loves languages, coffee and cultural exchange.
In small groups, participants are paired with both Portuguese and Danish speakers. Conversation cards and themes are used to get the conversation started, so no one needs to worry about speaking. No one has to be fluent – the most important thing is the desire to listen, learn and participate actively. Each session concludes with the group sharing the topics they have discussed.
Meeting times: Every other Saturday 10 am–12 pm. First meeting is 10 January 2026.
