PRiMi presents exciting concert evenings every Tuesday evening featuring outstanding musicians in experimental and free improvisation. The program opens at 7:00 PM with doors open, and the music begins at 7:30 PM.
Performers
- Preisaite Lipscomb Duo (7:30–8:30 PM): Ginte Preisaite (prepared piano, sampling, tape machine, electronics) and Jon Lipscomb (guitar, granular synthesizer, sampling, tape machine, electronics) explore the plasticity of sound through electronics, granular synthesis, and small tape loops. Their music moves between consonance and dissonance, from paradise to oblivion, with spontaneous bursts and textured sound landscapes.
- Rupp-Rößler-Hall (8:30–9:30 PM): An acoustic trio from Berlin's improvisation scene featuring guitarist Olaf Rupp, double bassist Isabel Rößler, and drummer Samuel Hall. The three musicians treat their instruments with extended techniques, creating complex sound textures, with all three voices as equal partners in conversation.
- The Tuesday Band (9:30 PM): An ad hoc ensemble that provides a platform for the improvisation community to present new and untested ideas.
