Shelby J. returns to Epicurus with her distinctive voice and deep roots in soul, funk, and jazz. Having worked with Prince's New Power Generation and D'Angelo's Soultronics, she brings a rare combination of power, elegance, and emotional depth to every performance.
This intimate residency features a stellar trio: Ken Linh Doky (piano), Felix Pastorius (bass), and Jacob Hatholt (drums). Together, they present a captivating blend of soul, funk, pop, R&B, and jazz with constantly evolving setlists developed in collaboration with Niels Lan Doky. Each night is unique – from timeless classics to fresh interpretations and original works.
The Experience: Choose between a jazz concert with drinks from 20:30 (Wednesday-Thursday) or 18:15/20:30 (Friday-Saturday), or combine it with à la carte dining or the seasonal menu upstairs in the restaurant. Your first drinks are included with your concert ticket and can be selected from the cocktail bar. Seating is limited – early booking is recommended.
