Experience a completely new and sensory approach to reading through silent books – where children use imagination and creativity together with a children's host. Without words, the child has the opportunity to actively create meaning, explore the images, and form their own idea of what the story is about. This approach encourages curiosity, deeper engagement, and a strong sense of participation.
Silent books support several areas in children's development, including language acquisition, bodily and sensory experience, and emotional understanding. After the activity, groups are welcome to eat packed lunches in the dining area and borrow books to take home.
