Siri Neel visits Spillestedet Stengade on 13 November with uncompromising pop, where Scandinavian sensitivity meets British edge. Her songs move between the intimate and the grand, and her distinctive voice has made her stand out as a unique presence on the Danish scene.
Siri Neel is a singer and songwriter who, after several years in England, has brought together inspiration from both music environments in her sound. With the single ́I Think I Said Something ́, she has gained international attention, performed at The Alternative Great Escape Festival UK, received airplay on hit radio stations in England and Germany, and been named P4's Hit of the Week as well as a top single by SoundVenue. She has also been nominated as one of 100 Artists to Watch in Europe by Danske Uafhængige Pladeselskaber in collaboration with YouTube.
There is also a personal story behind the music: after a nerve injury, she lost her voice for six years, but worked her way back with determination and stayed true to her artistic direction. Doors open at 8pm, and entry is 140 kr in pre-sale / 160 kr at the door.
