Join a focused morning writing session designed for everyone working on a writing project. Whether you need to get started on your book, are stuck in your manuscript, or simply seek concentrated time and writing community, this workshop is for you.
Author Ole Ditlev Nielsen, who has written and translated more than ten books, begins with a ten-minute talk about how to get started on your project – and how to find new momentum when you are stuck. Then you work for two hours using the Pomodoro Technique: short, focused writing blocks interrupted by brief breaks. There are no readings, no criticism, no expectations – you write on your own project at your own pace.
Program:
- 09.00 – Welcome and talk about getting started and moving forward
- 09.20 – Two hours of focused writing in Pomodoro intervals
- 11.20 – Wrap-up, networking and opportunity to continue the conversation at the café on the same floor
The workshop closes with time to meet and network with other writers – your future writing partners, beta readers, or sparring partners may be waiting at the next table.
Practical information:
The event is free, but places are limited – first come, first served. Registration is required. Remember to bring your laptop or notebook and your project, no matter how unfinished it is. Coffee and other refreshments can be purchased at the café on the same floor. The workshop takes place at Hub Nordic (Auditorium) close to Ørestad Station and Fields, making it easy to get there by metro, bus or car.
Ole Ditlev Nielsen's latest book "SKRIV – sådan bliver du forfatter" is sold at a special price on the day: 200 kr. (regular price without shipping 249 kr.).
