Writing Workshop: Writing Fantasy

Join author Josefine Ottesen as she guides you into the universe that informs her fantasy writing. In this two-hour workshop, she presents the structural model she uses for her own stories and gives you the opportunity to actively practice creating your own fantastic narratives.

Josefine Ottesen has created several successful fantasy series including "Krigeren," "Det døde land," and "Eventyret om fjeren og rosen," and has received the Minister of Culture's Children's Book Prize multiple times. She has also written dramatic works for children and young people.

Work hands-on with paper and writing materials — computers are not recommended, as thinking works better through handwriting. Bring your own paper, pen, and optionally a computer. Space is very limited, so you may need to work with your materials in your lap. A writing pad will be provided. You should bring your own coffee and water.
