Activate all your senses as a writer in this workshop led by author and visual artist Sidsel Ana Welden Gajardo. You will explore how artists such as Georgia O'Keeffe, Karoline Ebbesen, Noah Kanber and Lea Guldditte can inspire entirely new writing spaces.
Through presentations and exercises, you will learn to use artistic techniques, perspective, bodily sensation and sculptural elements to unlock entirely new possibilities in your writing. By leaving the static writing position and sensing artworks with your whole body, you return to paper with unique images and a completely new spatial relationship to your texts. The workshop explores writing as a three-dimensional space.
Sidsel Ana Welden Gajardo is an author and visual artist who has published, among others, the novel Du er min arv (2023). She integrates artworks into her writing and vice versa, making her a particularly qualified guide for this type of experimental writing exploration.
