Join an intimate writing workshop exploring the art of capturing memories. Together with author Trisse Gejl, you will examine what memory truly is, where it lives, and how it should be told. How does it arise in the present from the past? Is it your own self or someone else you see through your eyes? These questions are explored through practical writing exercises.
Trisse Gejl debuted in 1995 with Where the Dandelions Grow and achieved breakthrough success in 2006 with the novel The Patriarch, which was nominated for both the Weekendavisen Literature Prize and the DR Novel Prize. Her later works Shelter (2008) and Then It Became Too Pretty (2011) were also submitted for the DR Novel Prize.
No prior experience is required – only curiosity and a desire to experiment with words and form. The workshop takes place at Bibliotekshuset from 19:00 to 21:00, and participation is free but requires registration via Billetto.
