Do you want to start writing historical fiction? This workshop is led by author and translator Harald Voetmann, who will guide you through the genre via lectures and practical writing exercises, providing you with tools to find your own story.
The workshop suits both those who already have a specific time period in mind and those seeking inspiration to get started. All levels of writing experience are welcome. Harald Voetmann (b. 1978) is a literary author and translator with publications since 2000, including the novel Lysmesse (2025), as well as translations from Latin of works by Catullus and Petronius.
Practical details: The event runs from 10:00–12:00 at Mødeværket, 2nd floor. You must bring your own computer and/or paper and pen. There are no desks, so you will likely need to work with materials in your lap. Bring your own water and any snacks. The event is free, but registration via Billetto is required.
