A creative writing workshop exploring literature's possibilities through close relationships. Together with author and visual artist Sidsel Ana Welden Gajardo, we start from friendship, care, and the complex emotions surrounding people's closest relationships.
The workshop includes talks about literature dealing with both the liberating and difficult aspects of care — symbiosis and rejection in relation to each other. You receive concrete writing exercises that help you tackle the hardest and most authentic stories. Although relationships can be difficult to write about, they are also among the most original material one can work with as a writer.
No writing experience required — this workshop is for everyone, regardless of background or level.
About the instructor: Sidsel Ana Welden Gajardo is an author and visual artist who has published, among other works, the novel You Are My Legacy (2023). She often works with artworks in her writing and writing in her artworks.

- Workshop takes place on the 4th floor of Copenhagen Central Library
- Duration: 2 hours
- Bring your own computer and/or paper and pen — desk space is limited
- Writing pad provided
- Water station and coffee machine on the floor; bring your own drinks if desired
