Små Spirer is a sensory and interactive dance theatre performance that invites children aged 3-7 and their adults on a poetic journey through the plant world. Through choreography, sound and tactile scenography, the performance unfolds the seed's transformation from an almost invisible germ to green life stretching towards the light.
Children meet vibrating seeds, sprouting roots, and two dancers who transform into fantastic plant beings. Rather than merely observing the green world, the audience is directly involved – experiencing firsthand what it feels like to grow and be part of a larger ecological connection. The performance weaves connections between body, nature and imagination.
Artistic direction: Choreographer Nanna Hanfgarn Jensen. Dancers: Cecilie Kjær and Nanna Hanfgarn Jensen. Dramaturg: Nadja Mattioli. Scenography and costume by Baum & Leahy.
Part of the Teatermagi i efterårsferien festival, which brings children's theatre to cultural venues and libraries around Copenhagen in week 42.
Admission: 40 kr.
