Sunday is a warm and insightful children's theatre production from Teater Patrasket based on Kim Fupz Aakeson's acclaimed story. The performance explores the feelings of a boy who is about to become a big brother when his family expects a baby – and his worry about whether there is still room for him in his parents' hearts.
Torsten spends an entire week solving the puzzle: Should he become "cuter" to be loved again? Should he tidy his room? Or should he learn that love cannot be measured that way? Through small and large puppets, light projections and storytelling, Fupz's philosophical everyday story comes alive for 4-8-year-olds in a pictorial and consistent manner.
Theatre Magazine has highlighted the performance as "warm and heartfelt", noting that it educationally meets children who are about to become big siblings, while also moving the adults in the audience.
