Spinning Workshop

Learn the art of spinning wool and create your own yarn at this hands-on workshop. Under the guidance of Elena Ortíz from EARTH WEAVERS, you will be introduced to the entire process: carding, spinning, and knitting with raw wool. It is a sensory experience that revives forgotten craft skills and invites you to move at a slower pace as you explore the world of wool.

EARTH WEAVERS is an association dedicated to sharing skills in craftsmanship and self-sufficiency. The organization believes that more people should have the opportunity to create things themselves and thereby contribute to a more local, handmade, and sustainable world. During the workshop, you will see examples of knitted works that have been created entirely through hand craft – from carding through spinning to knitting.
