Songwriter and producer Cecilie Brask presents a unique concert experience with the family musicians behind Starsetz. Dreamy indiefolk rooted in trip hop and Roxy Music – beautiful, melancholic and dreamlike songs featuring catchy melodies, ethereal vocals, saxophone, violins and groovy drums.
Starsetz is a collaboration between married couple Cecilie Brask (formerly Supernova) and Tomas Ortved (Sort Sol). Joining them on stage are their two adult children: saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist Teis Ortved (Musvit) and classical violinist Thera Ortved (Absalon String Quartet). Completed by Andreas Larsen on violin and Valdemar Rudd on bass.
On their acclaimed debut album "Flickering Light" an enigmatic atmosphere emerges between David Lynch-like film scores and the intimate world of the jazz club – artificial intelligence meets dream pop. This concert marks Starsetz's only live performance in 2026.
The programme also includes a concert with an outstanding classical duo – an evening where classical and rhythmic music share the stage as part of Copenhagen Concert Community's mission to build bridges between genres and generations.
