Meet Steve Poltz – a singer-songwriter and performer whose career is as unpredictable as his artistic vision. He is behind some of the greatest hits in the United States, including the iconic number "You Were Meant for Me," but he is also known as an tireless touring artist with fans around the world.
Poltz's concerts are filled with personal stories that entertain and captivate audiences with a unique blend of humor and intensity. He delivers a show you will not forget.
His latest album, JoyRide – his 14th solo album – showcases him in full force as an artist without filters. It was created with musician Dex Green in East Nashville and contains ten tracks ranging from the humorous opener "If It Bleeds It Leads" through collaborations with Jim Lauderdale and Vince Herman from Leftover Salmon to the nostalgic title track. Each song bears the mark of Poltz's characteristic blend of both grand humor and artistic boldness – from dialogues with Jesus to fantasies about swapping livers like a water pump repair.
The concert is supported by Copenhagen Municipality, Park Private and Byens Historier.
