Parasport Frederiksberg invites children and young people with cerebral palsy and other motor challenges to water and swimming activities. The program is structured into three groups organized by age and skill level, with parents facilitating training in collaboration with participants.
There is no dedicated coach—instead, parents and helpers work closely with the children to adapt activities to each individual's needs. The goal is to create a safe and fun environment where each participant develops at their own pace and gradually gains greater freedom of movement, balance, and motor control in the water. A parent or helper must be in the water as support.
The program prioritizes allowing each child to progress on their own terms, which strengthens both self-confidence and social bonds among participants.
