Swinging melodic jazz at the iconic Hvide Lam with Cat Pack: Lasse Rømer (trumpet and vocals), Ole Matthiessen (piano), Søren Anker Nielsen (guitar) and Jimmi Roger Pedersen (bass). An evening full of showmanship, outgoing swing, humor and crooner singing, where you experience skilled musicians from different backgrounds creating music together.
Guitarist Søren Anker Nielsen is a veteran in Danish musical life with over a decade as a member of Cirkusrevyen's orchestra. Pianist Ole Matthiessen has been active in countless contexts over 60 years. Trumpeter Lasse Rømer is inspired by jazz legends, and bassist Jimmi Roger Pedersen is a virtuoso with a background from some of jazz's greatest names.
The repertoire spans widely: classic jazz melodies, the great American songbook and the orchestra's original interpretations. Cat Pack presents music up close to the audience at Kultorvet – a perfect introduction to autumn, whether you want to warm up before heading out in the city or drop by on your way home from other events.
