A rare opportunity to experience Tarrak GL up close in an intimate setting. The Greenlandic rapper is one of the most striking voices on his home music scene, known for fierce expressiveness, political nerve and sharp rap lyrics about identity, resistance, inequality and colonial power structures. With his charismatic presence and unambiguous messages, he has created significance far beyond music alone – he is established as an important critical voice in contemporary Greenland.
Tarrak broke through with his debut album FxGxS, where the track "Tupilak" became a viral breakthrough. Since then he has released Josef Tarrak (2019), an autobiographical work exploring identity and vulnerability, as well as several powerful singles. He has received numerous accolades, including the Talent Prize at the Koda Awards, and performed in 2023 as the first Greenlandic rapper ever at Roskilde Festival.
