The Art of Mixing Things Up

Multidisciplinary designer and artist Laura Rathschau explores visual expression through a dialogue between analogue and digital media. Discover how mixing different materials, techniques, and disciplines can lead to personal artistic development and authentic visual language.

Rathschau trained in textile design at the Royal Danish Academy and has toured internationally as a bass player with bands including Junior Senior. She works across scenography, costume, art direction, animation, and audiovisual installations for clients such as Sónar, Teater Sort/Hvid, and Cph Fashion Week. Her practical approach to manipulating both traditional and digital tools produces unconventional solutions and distinctive artistic style.
