An inspiring workshop for parents and young children aged 0-2 years. When little ones read together with their caregivers from day one, they get the best possible foundation for developing language skills, reading success, and a lifelong love of books.
Children's librarian Birgitte introduces you through an introduction circle, an educational song, and a brief presentation on the latest methods for language stimulation before an interactive question session. She has brought a large selection of the newest and most fascinating picture books, which you explore together — starting from the very youngest and up to age 2.
After the workshop, all picture books can be borrowed to take home using the library app (you must be registered with the library). Children's librarian Birgitte will be ready with a pop-up library right after, where loans are easily arranged. Strollers are allowed in the Culture Hall, and you are welcome to visit the café afterwards.
