What do the leading figures in artificial intelligence and technology dream about? Anders Søgaard, one of Denmark's foremost experts in machine learning and AI, as well as a literary author, takes you on a journey through the ideologies behind tech utopias. He describes himself as a double agent building bridges between technology and humanism.
In his work Packing List for the Future from 2025, Søgaard poses critical questions about artificial intelligence and the visions that shape the tech industry. During this event, you will have the opportunity to hear him discuss where the world is heading: are we moving toward fully automated luxury communism, or are we sliding into a dystopian sci-fi world? Søgaard presents his perspective on how we can best prepare ourselves for the future and which literary works can give us insight into the challenges we face.
The event is part of Copenhagen Libraries' festival "Wild About Science," which runs throughout October and November. Here, science communication for adults is offered in many different formats across Copenhagen's libraries.
