A special walking tour through central Copenhagen focusing on the city's historical witch burnings, where history is interwoven with magical thinking and dance. Led by choreographer and dancer Sarah Ann Lee, you will explore stories rooted in specific locations about the beliefs, witches, and fates of women from that era, as well as the secrets behind satanic coins, rituals, and mysterious events. This is a unique experience that can only be encountered on this particular tour.
The tour begins at the green lions in front of Rosenborg Castle in Kongens Have and ends at Gammeltorv. The event is part of Copenhagen's Libraries' "Wild About Science" festival, taking place in October and November with science communication for adults at all Copenhagen libraries.
