Science journalist Lone Frank presents her forthcoming book What We Live For – On the Meaning of Everything, in which she explores what gives life depth and meaning. After achieving professional success and fulfilling her ambitions, Frank finds that something is still missing, and she embarks on a personal search for meaning.
This journey takes her through science, the world of meditation, and out into the world. Meeting war-torn Ukraine becomes central to her search and raises fundamental questions about human existence. Frank shares her reflections on how we live, and most importantly, how we can become better at it.
