KONUR invites to an atmospheric Lucia evening in the Thorvaldsens Museum's magnificent foyer. The dynamic ensemble consists of 25 talented singers led by Nini Julia Bang and presents a rich repertoire of folk and world music from Georgia, Corsica, Bulgaria, and Ukraine, among other places.
As a special connection to the concurrent exhibition Life, Longing & Landscape – Thorvaldsens' Painting Collection, the choir performs, among other pieces, a Sardinian folk song rooted in Catholic musical tradition. Arrive early to explore artworks by renowned international artists from Italy, Germany, and Hungary on the first floor before the concert begins. An atmospheric winter evening in the glow of candlelight and the warmth of the season.
