Discover an extraordinary evening of Islay whisky with Ardbeg's newly appointed Distillery Manager, Bryony McNiven. This unique tasting showcases ten remarkable expressions spanning the distillery's rich heritage and contemporary releases.
Ardbeg, founded in 1815 on the Scottish island of Islay, is celebrated for its heavily peated single malts with characteristic intensity around 55 ppm. The distillery has achieved near-cult status among whisky enthusiasts worldwide, currently producing approximately 1.4 million litres of pure alcohol annually, with capacity expansion plans underway.

Bryony McNiven assumed her role as Distillery Manager on 1 January 2026, following Colin Gordon. She succeeds a historic legacy—the last women to lead Ardbeg were sisters Margaret and Flora MacDougall in the 1850s. Beyond daily production oversight, McNiven serves as co-chair of the worldwide Ardbeg Committee.
An evening with a Distillery Manager guiding such an extraordinary tasting programme is exceptionally rare. Whether you're devoted to Ardbeg, Islay whisky, or simply seek transformative whisky experiences, this is an unmissable occasion. The tasting is conducted in English. Doors open at 18:10.
