Teater Mikado presents a premiere production featuring an intimate monologue rooted in Lars Junggreen's personal world. Through a freely dramatized narrative, his life story unfolds as an artist and homosexual – from the silent, hidden society of the 1960s to a modern world with increasing openness, rights, and freedom.
The performance explores love in countless forms: first crushes, secrets that shaped a lifetime, relationships that faded, and encounters with illness, loss, and fear. Throughout, theatre provides the backdrop – a stage that became both refuge and lifelong passion. The protagonist looks back on his defining choices, the people he met, and what lies behind the spotlight. A story about identity, life choices, and finding one's place in an ever-changing world.
Direction: Alexandra Christensen. Duration: 70 minutes.
