BLAST celebrates the bakery's birthday on an exclusive Wednesday soirée 11/11 at the intimate and strongly atmospheric Bartof Station. The band moves freely across popular music's boundaries – pop, jazz, funk and beyond – with carefully arranged pieces that give soloists and the rhythm section freedom to create their own musical space.
The concept resembles a musical journey: visiting a soloist in the warmth of a living room, experimenting with another artist amid laboratory flasks and machines, or dropping into an intimate nightclub with cocktails and moody lighting. It all flows from an energetic orchestra that loves to play and move – in other words: music with real life.
