Teatret Quasi invites you to a poetic and nearly wordless performance created especially for the very smallest theatre-goers. Children aged 0–4 years and their adults experience a magical journey through a gardener's greenhouse, where a cheeky snail also lives.
The performance tells the story of birth, growth, death and rebirth through the eyes of the tomato plant — told through music, animation and craftsmanship. The scenography and figures are created from recycled materials, hand-crocheted, sewn and painted. The plant grows magically with the pull of a cord, and small insects are animated with a simple stick.
A quiet and musical experience celebrating both the plant's world and the slow, cyclical rhythms of nature — entirely without words, yet filled with imagination and handmade artistry.
