Discover the Nordic contemporary art scene at this comprehensive art fair. CHART ART FAIR is Northern Europe's leading fair for contemporary art, featuring a three-day program packed with gallery encounters, artist meetings and cultural works.
The fair showcases a wide range of Nordic art galleries and combines traditional art presentations with ambitious talks, cultural events and architectural installations. The event takes place at Kunsthal Charlottenborg by Nyhavn in Copenhagen, where the building itself currently hosts a striking installation by Ai Weiwei featuring over 3500 life vests collected from refugees.
CHART ART FAIR was established in 2013 by five collaborating galleries – Gallery Susanne Ottesen, Galleri Bo Bjerggaard, V1 Gallery, Andersen's Contemporary and David Risley Gallery – as an alternative to traditional art fairs. Since then, the event has shaped the Nordic art market and attracted art lovers from around the world.
