Chloe Slater, one of the most distinctive new voices on the British indie scene, performs at Ideal Bar. The Manchester-based songwriter blends raw indie rock energy inspired by bands such as Wolf Alice, Bloc Party and Arctic Monkeys with powerful guitar hooks and a unique ability to capture her generation's zeitgeist.

Following the critically acclaimed EPs You Can't Put A Price On Fun (2024) and Love Me Please (2025), Slater releases her debut album Riot Youth later this year. The ten tracks on the album paint a portrait of young people navigating social division, toxic internet culture and weakened communities - from sharp social commentary to deeply emotional poetry. Her music is crafted through grandiose choruses and memorable lines that transform concerns into unforgettable indie rock, setting both hearts and feet on fire.
