Meet poet and curator Claus Høxbroe as he reads from his extensive body of work at H2O. The evening focuses on his new poetry collection Melankoliens møl i brystet, complemented by personal and authentic stories about the genesis of his poetry.
Claus Høxbroe is an award-winning and highly respected lyricist with 25+ years of practice in writing. Since his debut in 2006, he has published over 40 works and toured in 10 countries. He has received both the Audience Prize for Poetry Day and the Dan Turèll Prize and is a member of the prestigious society Grøftens Poeter. His writing is nourished by a life in motion – Copenhagen has been his schoolhouse, and his verses capture the world with equal parts introspection and outward perspective.
The event features a bar with beer, water and wine as well as chips. This year marks Høxbroe's 20th anniversary as a published poet. The event is supported by Copenhagen Municipality.
