Two of the UK and Scotland's most beloved poets, Hollie McNish and Michael Pedersen, visit Copenhagen for a special literary evening. Following a series of sold-out shows across England, Europe and beyond, Ordskælv & Poesiens Hus welcomes you to an evening of conversation and readings alongside Denmark's highly acclaimed poet and writer Naja Marie Aidt, moderated by publisher and literary entrepreneur Karen Siercke.
Expect strong language and adult content wrapped in gorgeously crafted poetry. Hollie McNish, who won the Ted Hughes Award for her poetic parenting memoir Nobody Told Me, Michael Pedersen, current Poet Laureate of Edinburgh, and Naja Marie Aidt, recipient of the Nordic Council's Literature Prize (often called "The Little Nobel Prize") in 2022, share their work and reflections from their poetry collections and lyrical prose.
The show begins at 20:00. Doors open at 19:30. The event is supported by Statens Kunstfond and serves as a warm-up to the annual international poetry festival POESITID (March 21 – April 23).
